Adelaide Aqua Desalination Pipeline

McConnell Dowell / Built Environs are utilising Renfrey Plant Hire Contractors who have now ramped up the supply of wet and dry hire Civil Construction Plant & Equipment to the Adelaide Aqua Desalination Pipeline Project currently under construction at Lonsdale in Adelaide, South Australia.

The supply of 80 ton excavators with experienced operators is very important to the project with the Renfrey Plant Hire team coordinating the extensive mobilisation of the excavators, including dealing with all the relevant authorities and transport requirements.

The flexibility and on site presence of the new Renfrey Plant Hire management structure is providing excellent communication between the parties make life easier for the project team. This process is very refreshing and shows the inititiatives undertaken by the Renfrey Plant Hire team is very responsive and beneficial to the construction supervisors.

The utilsation of Zero Swing Excavators along a main highway has enabled no lane closures maintaining efficient traffic management for the local community.

The combination of qulaity machinery using Volvo 30 / 40 Ton articluated haulers and CATERPILLAR / HITACHI / VOLVO excavators and CATERPILLAR Loaders provides excellent efficiency and utilisation.
